CHRISTOPHER KEITH, CHAIRMAN
Chris Keith is the Chairman of PDQ Enterprises, LLC and the inventor of the PDQ
idea. Chris, who is also the Chairman, CEO and co-founder of ExchangeLab, is
responsible for the overall strategic business vision of the company and
development of its technology initiatives. Mr. Keith was President and Founder
of Financial Auction Network, Inc., an Internet auction based trading system
designed to attract the hidden pools of liquidity in equity markets, formed PRIMEX in a strategic partnership with the Madoff Investment Group. This
partnership has since attracted Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter and Salomon/Smith Barney as partners.
Mr. Keith
formerly served as Senior Vice-President and Chief Technology Officer at the New
York Stock Exchange, where he was also a member of the Management Committee.
Prior thereto he was Senior Planning/Development Officer at the Security Industry Automation
Corporation (SIAC), responsible for well-known automation products, such as
Common Message Switch, DOT, Consolidated Tape & Quote, MDS (NYSE and
American Stock Exchange), PERS, Automated Bond Systems, and ITS. He founded and was Chief Executive of DNS, the financial
communication service arm of ADP, Inc. He was also the original Chief
Technologist of Wit Capital (Nasdaq: WITC). Mr. Keith's accomplishments have
been noted in numerous publications including; Trading and Technology, Red
Herring, Wall Street Journal, Yahoo! News, CNNfn, and Securities Industry News,
among others. Mr. Keith holds a BA from Stanford University and completed
graduate work at Swarthmore and MIT.
D. KEITH ROSS JR., CEO
Mr. Ross brings thirty years of experience in the securities industry to PDQ. Mr. Ross's experiences have included floor trading, off floor trading, risk arbitrage, options, futures and cash markets. He has managed several different sized firms ranging from 15-75 employees, the most recent being focused on electronic trading.
Mr. Ross began his career as an options analyst in 1976. In 1979, Mr. Ross became a member of the American Stock Exchange and a registered options trader on the floor of the exchange. In 1983,
Mr. Ross formed Ceres Partners which was a small trading firm specializing in risk arbitrage and options market making. In 1988,
Mr. Ross became a member of the CBOE and was a market maker until 1999.
Mr. Ross has spent the last several years focused on electronic trading.
Mr. Ross joined PDQ Enterprises, LLC in 2005 and serves as CEO.
Mr. Ross is a graduate of Princeton University and resides in Chicago.
DAVID PADGITT, CTO
David Padgitt is the Chief Technical Officer of PDQ Enterprises. He is responsible for the development
and implementation of the PDQ system. He has been involved in the securities industry for over 20 years.
He was an early member of Hull Trading where he worked on the design and implementation of one of the first
real time option pricing and risk management systems starting in 1986. At Hull their technology made them an
early leader in the options market making business. David was also Chief Information officer for First Continental
Trading where developed a global trading system for proprietary derivatives trading. He has worked as Director
of Information Technology at Grosvenor Capital Management, a Fund of Fund firm, and had been a trader and hedge fund manager.
He graduated from Knox College with a B.A. in Physics.
ED O’MALLEY, CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER
Ed is the Chief Operations Officer at PDQ where he is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the firm. Prior to this Ed worked at Allston Trading where he was responsible for managing and tracking the implementation of all projects impacting the trading and systems areas within the firm. Ed was also the firm’s liaison with all US Equity Exchange’s and ECN’s on connectivity and trading relating issues. He previously held the position of SVP at the National Stock Exchange where his responsibilities included the oversight of the Business Development area and all related client service issues. In addition, Ed managed the Trading Operations Department which included the Operations Help Desk and also represented the Exchange on numerous committees including CTA, ITS and NASDAQ UTP. He started his career with the CBOE where he worked on the trading floor and ultimately became responsible for a number of projects focused on automating the execution of customer orders. Ed is a member of the Chicago Securities Traders Association and is series 7, 24 and 63 qualified. Ed graduated from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota and received his MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
JASON WALLACH, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Jason Wallach is responsible for PDQ’s sales and marketing efforts. He has been involved with PDQ since the company's inception in 2003. In 2001, Jason joined ExchangeLab International, Inc. where he worked closely with senior management on various securities industry projects including the development and formation of PDQ Enterprises, LLC. Prior to ExchangeLab, Jason was a Junior Analyst with Tower Hill Capital Group, Inc., an international investment banking, venture capital and consulting firm focused on Internet venture opportunities. Jason is Series 7 and 63 registered. He graduated from Connecticut College in 2001.
