Christopher Keith

Chairman Emeritus

Mr. Keith formerly served as Chief Technology Officer at the New York Stock Exchange, where he was also a member of the Management Committee. Prior thereto he was Senior Planning/Development Officer at the Security Industry Automation Corporation (SIAC), responsible for well-known automation products, such as Common Message Switch, DOT, Consolidated Tape & Quote, MDS (NYSE and American Stock Exchange), PERS, Automated Bond Systems, and ITS.

He founded and was Chief Executive of DNS, the financial communication service arm of ADP, Inc. He was also the original Chief Technologist of Wit Capital (Nasdaq: WITC). Mr. Keith also founded Financial Auction Network, Inc. an auction based trading system designed to attract the hidden pools of liquidity in equity markets, which was acquired and became PRIMEX. He is currently the CEO of ExchangeLab, Inc., an intellectual property development company that produced the underlying idea for PDQ and CODA.

Mr. Keith holds a BA from Stanford University and completed graduate work at Swarthmore and MIT.

D. Keith Ross

Executive Chairman

Mr. Ross brings more than thirty five years of experience in the securities industry to PDQ. Prior to joining PDQ in 2006, Mr. Ross was the CEO of GETCO LLC from 2002-2005. During his tenure at Getco, he expanded the firm’s trading from equities to fixed income and foreign exchange. Mr. Ross’ experiences have included floor trading, off-floor trading, risk arbitrage, options, futures and cash markets.

Mr. Ross began his career as an options analyst and subsequently became a member of the American Stock Exchange and a registered options trader on the floor of the exchange. In 1983, Mr. Ross formed Ceres Partners, a trading firm specializing in risk arbitrage and options market making. In 1988, Mr. Ross became a member of the CBOE and was a market maker until 1999.

Mr. Ross is a graduate of Princeton University and resides in Chicago.

Donald Ross, III

CEO, PDQ Enterprises, LLC

Don Ross brings over ten years of experience working for GETCO, LLC as a trader and business unit leader, where he gained deep expertise in equities market structure and proprietary electronic trading. His responsibilities include leadership of PDQ’s growing Research & Development team, talent management and overall strategic product direction with a focus on optimizing the liquidity seeking and provision experiences for CODA’s’ subscribers.

Mr. Ross holds a B.S. in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University.

Ed O’Malley

Director and President, PDQ Enterprises, LLC and President, CODA Markets, Inc.

Ed is the President of CODA Markets, Inc., and manages day-to-day activities including operations, regulation, and financial areas of the firm. Prior thereto, Ed worked at Allston Trading, where he was the liaison between the firm and all external market centers on connectivity and trading relating issues.

In his previous position as SVP at the National Stock Exchange, Ed oversaw the Business Development area and all related client service issues, in addition to Trading Operations and Support, while representing the Exchange on numerous industry committees and working groups. Ed started his career with the CBOE where he worked on the trading floor, focused on automating the execution of customer orders. Ed is a member of the Chicago Securities Traders Association and holds Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.

Mr. O’Malley graduated from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota and received his MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Gregory DePetris

Director

Greg DePetris brings to PDQ twenty years of experience as a co-founder, operator, investor and advisor to early stage financial services technology companies. His ventures have extended from intellectual property development through to the operation of full-scale regulated marketplaces and focus on the application of innovative marketplace models to new products and content categories.

Greg began his career as a commodities floor broker and proprietary trader. He co-founded ExchangeLab, an IP incubator that produced the PDQ concept, Intrade, the world’s largest prediction market, and Quadriserv, an industry consortium focused on the automation and CCP-based centralization of securities lending and equity repo markets where he was responsible for overall strategic direction and served as the chief liaison between Quadriserv and federal regulators, financial exchanges, institutional clients and the academic community. Greg is also a co-founder and director of Pivit, founded in 2011 by a group of financial and media industry veterans to combine financial exchange infrastructure with live-event trading to create a new category of real-time sentiment indices and risk-transfer tools.

Greg attended Fordham University, currently serves on the boards of PDQ Enterprises, LLC, ExchangeLab, Inc., Binary Event Network, Inc., SearchForce, Inc., and is a frequent speaker on capital markets issues. He also holds Series 3, 7, 24, 30, 55 and 63 licenses.

Donald Ross, III

David Padgitt

Chief Technology Officer

David Padgitt brings over twenty years of securities industry experience to PDQ and CODA Markets, Inc. He was an early member of Hull Trading where he worked on the design and implementation of one of the first real time option pricing and risk management systems starting in 1986, making them an early leader in the options market making industry.

David was also Chief Information officer for First Continental Trading where he developed a global trading system for proprietary derivatives trading, and was the Director of Information Technology at Grosvenor Capital Management.

Mr. Padgitt graduated from Knox College with a B.A. in Physics.

Jason Wallach

Chief Operating Officer, CODA Markets, Inc.

Jason Wallach has played a key role in the design, development and growth of PDQ and CODA Markets, Inc. since inception and today manages sales while continuing to assist with operational, product and strategy initiatives. In 2001, Jason joined ExchangeLab International, Inc. where he worked on various securities industry projects including the development and formation of PDQ Enterprises, LLC.

Prior to ExchangeLab, Jason was an Analyst with Tower Hill Capital Group, Inc., an international investment banking, venture capital and consulting firm focused on Internet venture opportunities.

Mr. Wallach holds a B.A. from Connecticut College, is a member of the Chicago Securities Traders Association and holds Series 7, 24, 55 and 63 licenses.

Team

Michael Arrendale

Compliance Developer

Michael provides data analysis and technical expertise in support of the Compliance and Execution Quality functions.

Michael previously worked for GETCO, LLC as a developer supporting the Compliance, Legal, and Data Services teams. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Truman State University and a MBA from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Boris Babenkov

Senior Developer

Boris is responsible for the collection, verification, interpretation and management of company and third-party data.

Previously, he was a software developer at Getco, LLC/KCG for ten years, and also held a software developer position at L5 Trading Group. He has an MS from Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University.

Bill Bender

Senior Developer

Bill is responsible for testing and performance enhancements related to the PDQ platform.

Following a stint at Sun Trading, Bill was the CTO/Lead Developer for a start-up trading firm specializing in ultra low-latency speed trades. Prior to his time in the trading field, Bill ran a software consulting company for 12 years with clients including Rockwell Electronic Commerce and GE Capital.

Bill has B.A.s in Computer Studies and Chemistry, and an M.S. in Computer Science, from Northwestern University.

Marc Bleskin

Trading Operations

Marc handles Trading Operations for CODA Markets, where he is responsible for the monitoring and support of the trading system and connectivity to member firms and exchanges. He assists the sales and accounting teams in identifying improved routing strategies and connectivity costs.

Marc previously worked as an Operations Specialist with JLS Group at the Chicago Board of Trade. He holds a B.S. in Technical Management from DeVry University.

Brian Bowser

Network Engineer

Brian oversees the network and supports the infrastructure for CODA Markets systems.

His previous experience was in the accounting industry where he served as Director of Information Technology for a Certified Public Accounting firm in Indianapolis, IN. Brian relocated to Chicago in 2013 to join the PDQ team and reconnect with family in the greater Chicago area. He is a graduate from Indiana University Bloomington with a B.S. in Accounting.

Joe Costa

Director, Institutional Equities

Joe is responsible for the management of CODA Markets institutional products.

Prior to joining CODA Markets, Joe worked for AX Trading, LLC where he was the Director of Operations, in charge of the day-to-day activities including trading, sales support, settlements, and business implementation. Joe holds his series 7 and 63 designations.

Nathan Ernst

Senior Software Engineer

Nathan is responsible for regulatory and compliance reporting.

He has more than a decade of experience in back office finance, including nine years with Citadel. Nathan holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.

Anastasia Fooks

Senior Office Manager

Anastasia handles day-to-day administrative functions and facility management issues for the Glenview office.

Anastasia has been with the company since 2008. Prior to joining PDQ, she was an Executive Assistant at Advisor Exchange, LLC.

Vitaly Gerasimov

Software Engineer

Vitaly is responsible for developing server side applications, as well as system design and testing.

His experience includes developing real-time communications systems and framework for streaming audio/video. Vitaly holds masters degrees in radio physics and finance from V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Tom Glunz

Database Administrator

Thomas manages the CODA Markets database which is used for regulatory reporting.

He automated the processes that reports trades on a daily basis to FINRA (OATS), clearing to Merrill Lynch, and other reports for both internal & external use. He has experience in several languages including: Paradox, Delphi, C#, Java, and several flavors of SQL. He started a corporation which creates and sells document management software.Tom is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Information and Decision Sciences.

Sue Gorden

Controller

Susan is the Controller for PDQ Enterprises, LLC, and CODA Markets, Inc. She is a C.P.A. and has over 30 years of accounting experience.

Before joining PDQ, she was in public accounting with Coopers and Lybrand and transitioned into management of medium-sized privately held manufacturing and service industry companies. Susan is a graduate of DePaul University with a B.S. in Accounting.

Sile Gorman

Senior Executive Assistant to the Chairman & CEO

Sile is responsible for executive and personal support to the CEO and office of the chairman.

She has more than 20 years of experience in C-suite, executive and personal administrative assistance. Sile attended the University of Kansas, Lawrence and DePaul University.

Chris Groves

Director of Operations

Chris manages the Trade Desk, coordinates FIX Certification Testing and maintains OATS records.

Prior to joining CODA Markets, Chris was a FIX Analyst at the National Stock Exchange where he was responsible for user acceptance testing. He started his career right out of high school when he began working as a Quote Reporter on the trading floor at the Chicago Board of Options Exchange.

David Howe

Network Engineer

David maintains, manages and optimizes CODA Markets’ extensive network.

He has 18 years of financial markets experience, primarily working for proprietary trading firms. David holds a B.S. from Southern Illinois University.

Rob Jacobs

Director, Business Development, Chicago

Rob’s responsibilities include sales, marketing, social media, route set-up and client management.

He joined PDQ in early 2009 as West Coast sales. A move to Chicago later that year brought Rob back to his roots where he enjoyed a long career in the financial industry. Most of his experience was as a specialist on the floor of the Chicago Stock Exchange as well as the Pacific Stock Exchange. Rob is a member of the Securities Association of Chicago (STAC) and is Series 7, 55 and 63 registered. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign with a B.A. in Economics.

Peter Jenkins

Managing Director, Institutional Equities

Pete Jenkins brings over twenty years of experience to CODA Markets, where for the last year he has focused on building out an institutional product and client-facing presence. Pete spent a large part of his career running institutional trading operations at a large buy-side investor where he was dedicated to building an advanced trading desk to support the early development of electronic trading systems.

Prior to CODA Markets, Pete served in various institutional trading roles, including Global Head of Equity trading for Scudder Stevens and Clark (later becoming Deutsche Asset Management), where he managed a team of 22 traders. In 2004 Pete moved to the New York Stock Exchange where he ran Institutional Relationship Management Group and was a member of the operating committee. At the NYSE, Pete was responsible for direct relationships with over three hundred investment managers, hedge funds, endowments and pension funds.

Mr. Jenkins has served as chairman of the NASDAQ Institutional Advisory Group, the NYSE Institutional Advisory Group and the Securities Traders Association Institutional Group, as well as having served on the Investment Company Institute committee on market structure and testified before the Congressional sub-Committee on decimalization.

Andrei Klysheiko

Senior Developer

Andrei is responsible for developing high frequency front-end applications, as well as databases, database queries, and database maintenance scripts.

Prior to his time at PDQ, Andrei developed high frequency trading platforms using C# and MS SQL languages. He holds a masters degree in systems engineering from Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics.

Dave Martensen

Business Process Architect

David manages the monthly reconciliation invoicing processes for accounts payable and receivable from customer vendors.

Prior to joining CODA Markets, David was VP of Support at Advisor Exchange where he supported advisors daily on aggregated financial data related issues across multiple reporting platforms and created custom solutions to help streamline their processes.

Miles Maxwell

Senior Developer

Miles is responsible for the development and performance of the trading system, as well as part of the testing team.

Miles has 20 years of experience developing trading systems for various trading companies and hedge funds. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science and and Ph.D. in Chemical Physics.

Chris Meade

Chief Compliance Officer

Chris Meade brings twenty five years of compliance and operations experience in the securities industry to CODA Markets. Prior thereto he was the Senior Managing Director of Compliance and Clearing for SunGard’s brokerage group. Previously, Chris was Chief Compliance Officer of GETCO Execution Services, OCTEG LLC, Archipelago Securities and Archipelago Trading Services.

Chris started his career in brokerage operations working for Kidder Peabody & Co. and later applied his expertise as Vice President of Operations for First Chicago NBD Investments Services and as Director of Operations for Northern Trust Securities.

Mr. Meade holds a B.A. from Marquette University and Series 7, 14, 24, 55 and 63 licenses.

Eugene Melnychuk

Software Engineer

Eugene is responsible for developing and maintaining high performance solutions for high frequency trading systems, analyzing scientific, engineering and other technical problems, formulating mathematical models of problems for software solutions, and hiring and training software staff.

Previously, Eugene was a researcher at Information Security Department and was responsible for developing research projects in cryptanalysis of block symmetric ciphers. He also participated in the creation of the Ukrainian National Encryption and Digital Signature Standard. Eugene holds a PhD in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance and completed a full course at Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics in the specialty “Limited Access Information Security.” He was Second Lieutenant and graduated from Kharkov National University of Air Force in the specialty “Maintenance and Repair of Avionics Aircraft, Helicopters and Aircraft Missiles.”

Alex (Sasha) Nazaruk

Data Platform Architect

Alex helps PDQ build and manage its Market Data Platform.

He has more than 20 years of information technology and data management systems engineering experience including eight years at GETCO, a leading global electronic securities trading firm, where his focus was on defining enterprise data strategies as well as building and managing large-scale data systems with extreme performance requirements.

Ruth Pinto

Staff Accountant

Ruth is responsible for accounts payable and additional projects assigned by the controller.

Her experience includes accounting work for retail, manufacturing and service businesses and responsibilities such as accounts receviable, accounts payable, general ledger analysis and income statement review. Ruth attended DePaul University.

Andriy Rokhmanov

Software Engineer

Andriy is responsible for the design and implementation of the CODA’s Market Data Platform.

His technical background is a mix of software development and systems administration. Over the past 20 years, Andriy has spent much of his time in consulting positions helping clients in a variety capacities, including application data integration and performance management, traditional and cloud software architecture, and security. His personal interests include electronics, open source software and HAM radio.

Jim Ross

Managing Director, Institutional Equities

Jim Ross has been at the forefront of institutional equity market developments for nearly thirty years as a pioneer and leader in the development, operations and adoption of successful non-displayed ATS/crossing businesses, with a specific focus on call auction markets, non-displayed liquidity and portfolio/block trading.

Prior to joining CODA Markets, Jim was the founder and CEO of MatchPoint, LLC, an enterprise ATS/crossing platform acquired by the New York Stock Exchange to replace their legacy equity crossing facilities. Jim oversaw the integration, re-launch and operations of NYSE MatchPoint’s intraday, non-displayed and electronic equity trading facilities. For fourteen years, Jim ran Instinet’s global electronic crossing businesses and later spearheaded their global institutional sales and relationship management division.

Jim has served as an industry expert and thought leader on market structure and industry issues for the SEC’s Office of Compliance, Investigation and Examination Division, FINRA, investment managers and ATSs. Jim is a frequent panelist and author on issues affecting ATSs, non-displayed liquidity and market regulation.

Jason Schwab

Trading Analyst

Jason works closely with PDQ’s sales and operations teams to optimize trading logic and improve execution quality for CODA Markets subscribers.

He is currently working toward an Economics degree at DePaul University.

Clancy Siko

Trading Operations

Clancy handles Trading Operations for CODA Markets, where he is responsible for the day-to-day functionality of the trading desk, including clearing, compliance and subscriber relations.

Previously, he was VP, Head of Trading Operations Desk for NYSE Arca – Chicago, where he was responsible for the NYSE Arca Trade Operation Desk. Clancy graduated from the University of Florida and is Series 7, 24, 55 and 63 registered.

Jim Stearns

Director, Business Development, NYC

Jim’s responsibilities include sales, member firm relations and new business initiatives.

Prior to joining CODA Markets in 2009, Jim spent time with NSX Holdings, LaBranche Structured Products LLC, Susquehanna Investment Group and CBOE Holdings in New York. He currently holds Licenses for Series 7, 24 and 63. Jim is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a B.S in Finance.

Dimitry Svirinovsky

Database Architect & Report/Script Developer

Dimitry designs, develops and maintains databases that support PnL, billing, regulatory and subscriber reporting functions.

Previously, Dimitry worked with ARGO SE Inc. as a software engineer. He attended National Technical University (Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute) and was qualified as an Electrical Engineer with a specialization in Robotic Systems.

Joe Swiatek

Compliance Analyst

Joe handles day to day monitoring of compliance reports and provides leverage to the Chief Compliance Officer.

Joe spent his previous years as a member of the CME where he was a floor broker/trader. He received his BA from Illinois State University.
